Do I Save Mayrina or Take the Stat Boost in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Do I Save Mayrina or Take the Stat Boost in Baldur’s Gate 3? During the fight with Auntie Ethel in her lair, players are faced with one of the most impactful moral choices in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3, a decision that will carry weight for the entire game. It’s a moment that tests whether you value compassion or raw power, and there’s no going back once you make your choice. When Auntie Ethel’s health is nearly gone, she will stop the battle and try to strike a bargain. She offers you power in exchange for being allowed to keep Mayrina and her unborn child. At this point, you can accept her deal, reject it and save Mayrina, or simply kill Ethel outright. Each path has its own consequences, rewards, and moral implications. If you accept her offer and let her keep Mayrina, you’ll receive one of the most valuable items in Act 1: a single strand of Auntie Ethel’s hair … Thanks. This nasty token grants a permanent +1 to any ability score of your choice. It’s a tempting prize, especially for...

Hogwarts Legacy: Ghost Of Our Love Treasure Map Sidequest

Hogwarts Legacy: Ghost Of Our Love

                 Treasure Map Sidequest

Ghost of Our Love is but one of 7 treasure map sidequests in Hogwarts Legacy. It’s likely the first treasure map players will come across as they follow the Main Quest. The location of the map varies depending on which Hogwarts House you’re in. This guide will walk you through finding the map and the treasure.

The treasure map is found somewhere in the area after talking to Richard Jackdaw.

Gryffindor

The treasure map becomes available during the main quest The Hunt For The Missing Pages for Gryffindor players. After participating in finding Jackdaw’s head among the pumpkins 5 times, you can find the map resting on a tomb on the eastern side of Hogsmead Graveyard.

Slytherin

Scrope’s Last Hope, the exclusive Main Quest for Slytherin House, leads players to Apollonia Black’s Grotto beneath Hogwarts Castle. The map can be found in a chest right in front of Apollonia Black’s Journal.

Hufflepuff

The treasure map is found in a treasure chest behind Claire Boumont’s house in Upper Hogsfield during the main questline, Prisoner of Love.

Ravenclaw

Players can collect the map from the Owlery just Southwest of Hogwarts Castle, during the Main Quest, Olivander’s Heirloom. The map is located on the ground on the southern side of the tower.

The Ghost Of Our Love starts as soon as players find the map during the house-exclusive quest. Treasure map quests require players to find the place depicted on the map. The Ghost Of Our Love map depicts a bridge, a forest, a wand, and some candles.

The location on the map is the Forbidden Forest. Players should teleport to the Forbidden Forest Floo Flame. There’s a bridge to the east. You ran over it on your first trip to Hogsmead with Natty or Sebastian.

You can only do this quest at night so either kill some time or change the time in the map menu using F on the keyboard and mouse or the right analog stick on the controller. Once night has fallen cast Lumos while on the bridge and 3 candles will appear at the west end of the bridge, the side closest to the floo flame.

Follow the candles into the Forbidden Forest. They will guide you to a spot with two chairs and a table. The chest is sitting right beside it.
