Hogwarts Legacy: Treasure Map Locations

 

Hogwarts Legacy has a plethora of secrets, puzzles, mazes, and sidequests. It’s part of what makes the game so enjoyable. All of that coupled with the fact that it’s Hogwarts. Among studying for the O.W.L’s, broom practice, and thwarting Ranrok’s plans, there are treasure maps located across the map. 7 treasure map sidequests. These treasure maps show an image of a location that players will have to find in the game. Once players have found the location they’ll have to fight enemies or solve a puzzle for the treasure. This guide will give you a quick rundown of all 7 Hogwarts Legacy treasure maps and where you can find them.

Ghost of Our Love

This sidequest is relatively straightforward. The treasure map is found after speaking to Richard Jackdaw and the map depicts the Forbidden Forest. All players have to do is follow the floating candles.


Cache in the Castle

The quest starts by talking to Arthur Plummly. He’s located in the Defense Against The Dark Arts Tower. The Cache in the Castle quest is entirely inside Hogwarts Castle. It requires you to visit a few locations around the castle before eventually finding a certain painting with a secret.

Well, Well, Well

As implied by the name, this quest has to do with a Well. To start Well, Well, Well you’ll need to visit Aranshire. It’s located in the South Hogwarts Region. The Well is Southeast of Aranshire. It’s a bit of a hike from the castle to the Well and you may want to tackle the quest after you’ve acquired your broom.

The Tale of Rowland Oakes

The Tale of Rowland Oakes begins with Adelaide Oakes back at the castle. She can be found in the Transfiguration Courtyard. Once the quest is started, you’ll need to head to Korrow Ruins. It’s located in the westernmost area of the North Hogwarts region. Hopefully, you will have unlocked either Jackdaw’s Tomb Floo Flame or East North Hogwarts Region. Either one will do because there is still quite the trek you’ll have to make from the Floo Flame on foot or by broom.

Solved By The Bell

Obtaining the treasure map is not easy. It’s located inside Henrietta’s Hideaway which is located in Manor Cape. There are a few puzzles that need solving before you can get to the map and the rest of the treasure. Before you attempt the Hideaway, make sure you have learned Glacius from Madam Kagawa. It’s unlocked by completing Madam Kagawa’s Assignment 1 in the main quest.

Cursed Tomb

This quest is also located in Manor Cape. It’s one of the southernmost areas of the map. Beware the enemies. Many of them are high-ranking. Anywhere between levels 25-40. Make sure to upgrade your clothing and bring plenty of potions as well. It may be a good idea to attempt this quest later in the game after you’ve progressed further in the main quest.

The Hippogriff Marks The Spot

This last map is located in the Poidsear Coast province. There are no specific requirements to get this map however it is inside Poidsear Castle which is crawling with enemies and it is home to a nasty foe, Iona Morgan. So make sure you come with plenty of Wiggenweld because you won’t escape without a fight.
