Darksiders 2: A Guide To All Body Part Locations For The Wandering Stone Side Quest

The Wandering Stone side quest is one of the many sidequests in Darksiders 2. It’s harder to find than some, and it’s purely done out of the goodness of Death’s heart, despite how much he would protest that. This quest tasks Death with reassembling a Construct Sentinel known as Oran, whose body parts are scattered throughout the Forge Lands. This guide will walk you through all the locations of the missing body parts and the rewards for completing the quest.

How to Start the Wandering Stone Quest

To begin the Wandering Stone quest, you need to seek out Oran, He’s inactive when Death comes across him. He is located near the temple structure in The Fjord in the Forge Lands. To reach him, have Death swim across the lake as far back as he can. There is a Vulgrim shop in the left alcove Oran is in the right alcove. Activate him with the Makers Key that Alya and Valus forged. Oran will tell you that he has long since lost his limbs while he has been asleep. His body parts were scattered across the realm. Your task is to recover the missing body parts and restore Oran.

Wandering Stone Locations

There are four missing Construct Sentinel pieces, each hidden in different areas of the Forge Lands. Here’s where to find them:

1. Left Leg – The Charred Pass

Travel to Baneswood, located south of Tri-Stone. Head to the Southeastern portion of the unnamed trail that leads to the Charred Pass. Look for a large broken Construct piece resting near some small ruins. Interact with it to collect the first missing part.

2. Left Arm – The Scar

This limb is located East of the Cauldran and in the South East section of the Forge Lands. Travel by foot, Despair, or fast travel. Oran’s leg is right outside the entrance to the dungeon.

3. Right Arm – Shadow Gorge

Either Fast travel to the Shattered Forge and backtrack down the path to te middle of the Shadow Gorge or travel into the Gorge from the Stonefather’s veil. The arm is hard to miss as it is blocking half the path. Interact with is and send it back to Oran.

4. Right Leg – The Fjord

The last body part is located in the southeastern section of the Fjiord, along the trail that leads up to the Drenchfort. Fast Travel to the Drenchfort and backtrack down the path. The limb will be on your left side next to the ruins by the shore as you make your way out of the Drenchfort Path.

Completing the Quest and Rewards

Once all four pieces are collected, return to Oran at The Fjord. He will thank you for your efforts. Upon completion of The Wandering Stone, Oran will give you a second quest, The Makers Chronicle, which is another side quest in the Forge Lands. As a reward for completing The Wandering Stone, Death will receive 500 XP and 2500 Gilt.

Tips for Completing Wandering Stone

Check your mini-map frequently- It’s always good to check for Fast Travel locations and know where you are.

Fast travel between locations- It saves time and avoids unnecessary backtracking.

Clear out nearby enemies first- It makes it easier to locate the Construct parts without distractions.

Use Despair to travel on foot faster- This is a place for a horse.
